Sgt. Pepper Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 (edited) This stand alone concert from '72 (it was the last night of the European Tour), and the classic Europe '72 are getting re-released tomorrow. They also released a stand alone concert from when they played Wembley in '72 on vinyI, but it was $150 for 5 LP's. Last year they released a 5 LP set from the Paris Olympia '72 show. I have my original Europe '72 on vinyl, so I got the HDCD of The Grateful Dead - Lyceum Theater 5/26/72 show. I'll be rocking this later today. Edited July 28, 2022 by Sgt. Pepper 1 1 Quote
merciful-evans Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Good to see. I got the Europe 72 vol 2 quite a while back. I didn't know about this one. They even exhumed Clem Attlee for the cover pic. Looks like Pig is featured in 2 of those songs then. Review this when you get it please Joel. Quote
merciful-evans Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 The year before. 21 cd set. That was a good listen. There's some gems in there. The last Dead CD I got was the Anthem of the Sun 71 remix (by Phil Lesh). Quote
Sgt. Pepper Posted July 28, 2022 Author Posted July 28, 2022 I’m Rockin CD 1. So far it’s a winner. About 3 and a half hours to go. Quote
Sgt. Pepper Posted July 29, 2022 Author Posted July 29, 2022 I make it through 3 CD's. Damn good show. I'm gonna finish up CD 4 today. Quote

merciful-evans Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 I just got the Bickershaw Festival set today (its actually the 50th anniversary now) 6 disks. First 4 are Grateful Dead. I have only listened to disk 5 so far which was NRPS, Beefheart & MB, Donovan & Country Joe. The recording quality is abysmal. A friend of mine was at this event. Quote
