MichaelMcKnny
Gibson did some guitar center exclusive SG standards that included coil splitting. I know they did a run from 2010-2012 and in 2014. I can only find 1 of these guitars online for sale anywhere, and it’s a champagne color that I don’t care for. Would love any help finding one. I’ve pictured a few below. 9D94102F-0456-4764-BAAE-FCF152CCC1D7.webp 5CA0EF8A-1C7B-47B1-8F4F-36E2BC1F9183.webp

Larsongs
I’m not an SG expert but seems like most of the ones I’ve seen with Coil Splitting are Epiphones? I could be wrong?
Sgt. Pepper
Get and SG and put pups in that can coil split, or if the pups are 4 wire with a ground they are ready to coil split.
brad1
Sgt. is right. It’s not the guitar that coil splits, it’s the pickup.
MichaelMcKnny
@Sgt. Pepper I appreciate the advice. This is definitely an option but I was hoping to find one that was made with coil splits in the factory. Partially for the rarity
mihcmac
If the pups have 4 wires plus a ground they will work with a push pull pot for coil splitting. Edited August 27, 2022 by mihcmac
