jazzbassi
Hi. I have a les paul custom 1971 cherry "pancake" and I noticed that there are some with the gibson logo embedded on the pickup covers and some without. Is it legit? I have seen both options just wonder what's the difference? Also I saw they are now up to $9000 on Reverb. Can someone confirm it?

Sgt. Pepper
One guy on Verb had his '71 listed at 14k then dropped it back to 9k. Its been there for 7 months, so you do the math?
Eracer_Team
Gibson engraved pickup covers were between 70 and 72, roughly
powerwagonjohn
The covers were actually embossed. Thanks John

As I saw several with and several without. Just want to make sure that both options are available between 70-72. Do you know?

Eracer_Team
Don't believe every pickup cover was embossed. Norlin era thing. Guitar is worth what someone is willing to pay. Currently new 2022 Murphy aged LPs in Canada are between 9,000 to 14,000. Comes down to what you want to pay
