merciful-evans Posted March 11, 2023 Share Posted March 11, 2023 Yes of course its a scam. I look on Marketplace most days. So I find a 90's Gibson up for just a couple of hundred quid ($240). This thing had not sold in over 20 weeks. Was it fake? It looks real enough. I check the seller out and he has 5 Les Pauls and a couple of Hofners all for the same sort of money. He only wants to ship the guitars though. In one listing he said he was 'moving house'. So he is either not fooling anybody or maybe he's 'selling' the same guitars a couple of times a week. Oddly enough I had just reported one seller for something far less serious. The thing about this one though is it looks as though he's doing nothing wrong. What would you do?
