sparquelito
Here's Jeff and Richard from 2012. This is so good!! (Just let one song after another play. There's a half hour of songs from the gathering on youTube.)  Edited May 4 by sparquelito

John Shiflet
Sad news, indeed. Rest in peace Richard as you join so many musical greats who departed before you.
Californiaman
Yeah, they were a fantastic group. Â At one time in the '70s you could turn the dial on the radio and chances are you would land on an ELO hit. RIP Richard. Â You were one of the best. Â
Sheepdog1969
Wow, how sad. Electric Light Orchestra was a special band that I always loved, but was one that not many of my peer group appreciated as much as I did. (kind of like how I enjoy Supertramp.) Sparky, it is so weird that you posted the video of "Telephone Line", because that is my favorite ELO song, mostly because the lyrics ring so true and how the melody feeds the lyrics so perfectly. My ex's ring tone on my phone was "Evil Woman", for years after the divorce, until I changed it recently to Elton's, "The B!tch is back". I'm thinking I should change it back! (I felt compelled to post these clips, that hopefully introduced ELO to a younger/new audience, via film, over the years)   Edited May 5 by Sheepdog1969
