ftg296
GC still has it for 1799 but MF just hiked the price to 1999. If you are on the fence, be forewarned that GC will probably follow suit soon. Will update as to condition out of the box later this week. Struggled with the age old "do I buy this one or the 336" for weeks! Ended up here for a few reasons, but mostly because of the big price difference of $1k - $1200. Thats a premium of over 50% for the 336. Figured I could take that and grab a slightly used Mesa Boogie or LoneStar amp. Played a slew of em at GC (all of them (new and) scratched - which is why i did the online order) - 339 sounded really good. stay tuned.. thing should arrive in a day or two. badbluesplayer
Smart move. It looks like GC has hiked the price too. Did the MSRP go up?

Volt
It's still a fairly good bargain @ $1999 IMO. It's a great guitar as long as you stay below the 20th fret.
