Black Sabbath and Judas Priest are two of my favourite meral bands ro come out of the US too. I think they come from the same area as Bad Company, Fleetwood mac and two thirds of the Jimi Hendrix experience :)/ :D/ :D/

Fountains of Wayne- Not so well known but these guys are great songwriters. Their songs are perfectly crafted with humor and hooks galore. Stacy's Mom is their big hit but all their CDs are loaded with excellent pop.

Hey if Fountains of Wayne is still together they may have to change their names to "Prime Retail Space For Rent"..

The store went out of business early this year..
