Between the Buried and Me is a prog metal band....anyone into them? I realize this may not be the best crowd for that but who knows? Overall, I found "Gluttony" more to my pallette, but I am not much on the vocalist, in general In fact, take away the vocals (throaty growls, anyway) and I really liked it. Thanks man! If instrumental music bores you then this band most likely will not appeal to you. They're not easy to jump into, they don't make 3:30 songs that get to a hook within 30 seconds, they don't use any particular member as a crutch by overusing instrumental solos, and they don't sing in every song. However, they are extremely creative musicians, versatile players, and amazing writers. It's up to you if that's something you can appreciate or not.
