Many, many thanks to everyone posting & sharing!

The Tempus have my full attention (so much better than many widely-known bands I think!), Kolera is cool, Blackie has great tone, Rocketman is quite a composer & a player (brought ''The Doors'' to mind, between others man!), and I'm still listening to the rest of the stuff!

Keep doing what you're doing guys! Many thanks again. [biggrin]

We're trying to put together our own demo to get gigs and doing it ourselves. This was recorded live in our rehearsal space and the only overdubs are the lead and backing vocals, everything else is as played. This is one of our powerpop songs - four chords if you include the one chord played in the bridge.

The mix is a bit bottom heavy as I'm trying to get used to the monitors. It was recorded using some sort of Korg mixer/hard disk recorder that the other guitar player owns. We don't have enough mics or inputs for the entire drum kit but it still came out pretty good for a garage recording.

My guitar is the dirty one and I play the solo:

Peavey Vandenberg ->

Analogman King of Tone overdrive ->

Mesa Stiletto Deuce ->

2x12 Mesa cab ->

Shure SM57
