Silenced Fred
As milod wrote before: there seem to be a lot of nicks in it, probably hit up against somethings and it probably got pushed in or something. Just pisses me off how they didn't seem to care...

pohatu771
It probably got unscrewed and fell in. There's probably a nut and washer on the ground below it. I know I have to tighten my Casino's jack on occasion, as do other people with similar guitars - from all companies.

Silenced Fred
Can you fill us not ITK what this thread is about? Did you buy an Epiphone Dot from GC and it was scratched to hell with a missing jack? Nah' date=' I just stopped in and went to go play it. Walked over, picked up the cable, and something seemed wrong.... NO INPUT!!!! So, I take the guitar over to the certified salesman and asked why the guitar wasn't working, he said it might be a bad cable... :- I just saw it and laughed. When I brought it up, he said he might be able to get me some money off... He said it would be around 25 bucks I think... 25 bucks off a guitar scratched to hell? I'll pass...
