I kind of think fast playing being musical is opinion. It can be used in cool' date=' artistic ways instead of just showing off or soloing. It's useful but not necessary.

No, I didn't watch the video.

I started to, but found it a bit boring, he sounds like a confused GPS unit.

But that doesn't change my opinion on fast playing.

 

I also think along the lines that "Fast playing is a musical opinion, and can be used in cool, artistic ways instead of just showing off or soloing", just like you.
