Not sure what guitar it is, but go on Reverb and see what the same make model year and condition are selling for.

Ginger Durbin
I can't find a serial number on my vintage Gibson either. I know the history behind it and approximate year and the story behind it which is quite interesting. It was my grandfather 's and I inherited in 40 years ago. He passed 46 years ago and actually played music with a famous person
Ginger Durbin
So what is everyone's opinion on this? How do I find out exactly? I know it's not a fake because several years ago a music store had it for a couple of weeks, cleaned it up, tuned it after taking the original ivories off and replacing them. I have the original ivories in a bag. I would like to know a value range because I would like to sell it. I am not musically inclined and some that is needs to enjoy it. My grandpa, when I was little, would always put me on his knee and sing to me every evening. I will be 70 years old in November.

There are 16 years of discussion & advice on this thread. I thought some of it was good. Perhaps you didn't find it helpful? Truth is there is not always a solution to this problem. Experts can help. There are a few here. I most certainly am not one of them, Good luck.
