jameslucascalvert
I saw Jeff Beck live back in '99 or 2000, and it was awesome!! (For 15 mins, then it got boring....you can only listen to a guy solo for so long...) I haven't been interested in anything of his since "Who Else?", but if this new disc is good, I'd like to check it out.
80LPC
Heard a couple of tracks recently. Was interesting, but I find myself drifting back to this era -
Thin_Lizzy
I recon the track Never Alone is some of the best guitaring he's done in ages. Very impressive.
Bowdiddley
I just go the new recording, very impressive IMHO I think the guy just gets better with age. Here is another one of his that I like
Thin_Lizzy
Looks like the album is being well received. Emotion and Commotion is #11 in the Billboard Top 200.
charlie brown
I prefer Jeff Beck, when he has a good vocalist, with him. One "instrumental" an evening, is enough, for me. Put him with a great vocalist, though...and I can listen to them all night! CB
Bowdiddley
I agree CB, he would have done good to chose a great singer with his guitar.
deepblue
I have heard more than one person say that back in the late '60's early '70's Jeff and Rod Stewart were blowing away Zeppelin.
Hall
I'll be glad to take any Beck live listening time for which anyone has no use.
