RichCI Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 Looks like a Standard to me; Deluxes have mini humbuckers but his guitar might be modified which was pretty common for a while as a lot of players didn't care for mini humbuckers (Pete Townsend excluded) and replaced them with full sized humbuckers. RichCI Posted May 20, 2008 Share Posted May 20, 2008 That'd be my guess as well since "Deluxe" and "Standard" were engraved in a large script type face and I've seen "Custom" in a smaller non serifed block type face on truss rod covers and, even though it's illegible in that picture, it looks like the type is pretty small - too small to be the script.
