deepblue
Can anyone suggest a glue or adhesive to put the rubber back on my stompbox? I took it off and put velcro on it for my pedal board, and now have to put it back. cheers.

L5Larry
I've used double sided carpet tape for just that purpose. Any double sided "pressure sensative" type adhesive tape will work better than a liquid adhesive. Very few liquid adhesives are formulated to stick to both rubber and metal. ksdaddy
I can't quote you actual brand but you want silicone adhesive. Not silicone sealer like you'd use around the bathtub, but adhesive. Typically in a smaller tube, only a few bucks. You know how products are put into clear plastic blisters that are glued to display cards? I used to be in charge of a dept that packaged golf spikes and wrenches that way, and I used to make the "blister boards" that we used to package them. The clear blisters would sit into pockets cut in plywood bases. These pockets were padded with soft rubber, similar to mousepad material. Silicone adhesive was the ONLY thing we found that would stick and stay stuck. It works great gluing rubber to metal or wood.
