Thanks for correcting me. You're such a smart man! O:)

You're still not welcomed here. You're still an idiot. You're still not getting it.

You didn't miss the meeting' date=' you created it.

Leave.[/quote']

No, I don't think so. I like it here...and besides, I have to stick around and check your posts for grammatical and spelling mistakes. I wouldn't want you to appear stupid or anything.

...and Al's your uncle.

That's ok, I will take my chances. Go teach an english class in China (since you are so concerned for their well being) if you want to do some good. Not everyone is as uptight as you are about spelling errors on a guitar forum. BTW It doesn't matter if you like it here. I like alot of things, but that doesn't mean I get to have them. It's great you have such wisdom. It's like putting an incredible engine in a piece of crap body of a car with rusted old fenders. Shame man.

Apologize to Jerry and to the rest of us and we might consider allowing you to stay here. Otherwise the choice won't really be yours. Overruled! Trust me on that.

Since this is my last reply to you unless you do the right thing, keep those insults rolling other people need to be aware of you. By the way, post some pictures of your guitars. Better yet, we would love to hear some of your priceless recordings! Oh that's right, you don't post anything other than some big fancy words attacking others. Good times man.

Enjoy your stay!

Cripes,

when this thread first started getting raunchy I was disappointed. I haven't checked it in about 2 days, and now accept that it didn't just end with some bad vibes. This kind of crap never existed before, that I am aware of, on this forum. This was one of the facets of the Epi forum that others lauded when entering for the first time.

Sorry to see things start to change now.

One of the best things about this forum is that everybody gets to make up their own mind. 'nuff said. Everyone will have their own opinion about this.

[b']As for me, some of you earned my respect with your even-tempered elequence. You know who you are[/b].

:)

Again' date=' you're all talk. African Mahagony vs. Honduran. 'Cheap' electronics. You're lame, dude. I'm beginning to believe you've never actually seen or played an elitist. You don't seem to know a lot about them although you claim to. And I don't think you're fooling anybody but yourself and Mott the Hoople.

If your Nitro finish & Honduran mahogany is worth an extra grand, you've got more money than brains. Who's really getting conned, eh 'cowboy'?

I've owned a lot of Gibsons & own 3 now. I love Gibson guitars. No, I don't chase chicks much any more but I sure used to. And I guess you don't get out much if you think a tatoo on a rock musician is in any way unusual.

Those of us who have read the whole thread have suffered through your 12-paragraph diatribes and your claims of expertise based on the fact that you write 'musician' on your tax forms. You're full of yourself. We get it.

I ask you to provide the facts and, unable to do so, you stall by attempting to make fun of my tattoo or my age until Mott the Hoople throws you a bone with the 'Honduran Mahogany' thing. Bouyed by that, you rave on about the elitists' 'cheap hardware', 'inferior pickups', cheap electronics, etc.

I have one thing over you: owning both Gibsons and elitists, I get to play them head-to-head every day.

You've thrown your best shot and your arguement was and is lame. We'll let everybody decide for themselves on this one.

You don't owe me anything, that's for sure. [b']God help me if I ever allowed myself to be indebted to a blowhard like you.[/b]

I've already wasted too much time on you. You're a complete idiot.

You're backpeddling. Show me the facts.

Actually I've been playing since 1962. That's 45 years' date=' I guess. Time flies.

[b']I could give a Rat's *** whether you like my tatoo or not. I can only tell you that chicks dig it. I mentioned it only to enforce the fact that I've been a 'loyal Gibson man' for a long time.

Again, talk is cheap. Let's see your evidence or quit running your mouth off.

[/b]

Interesting. :-k

A post on a couple of articles about new Epi's has evolved into a thread about Human rights, Communism, the quality of one's guitar collection, the color of ones hair, capitalism, price of tea in China, something about Walmart, definitely about popcorn and milkduds, and vacations.

I am just waiting to find out who killed JFK. Think about it, establishing only one shooter doesn't mean it wasn't a conspiracy.....

Is this what happens when I eventually go senile? I hope so, it sounds like fun. Think of all the new people I will meet on a daily basis.

I guess some people really hold a grudge. If he's saving every email where somebody criticised him he's probably had to buy a bigger hard drive.

Those are my replies all right (from a year ago) and I don't back off from them at all. If you read them, you can clearly see I was defending myself, as I will always do when attacked.

I don't recall what the orginal battle was all about, but apparently it was a dispute about the quality of elitists.

I think it's strange he printed my responses without including his original attacks.

Consider the source, I guess. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

Hi Tulsa,

Respectfully speaking here, I for one was originally heated in this very thread and since apologized to Al and everyone else involved for it. I also removed all my posts from last week feeling that I got way too emotional and things turned so negative in nature at the end of the day.

However, I only quoted you from this new and old Epiphone forum because if someone is going to say something like "some of you earned my respect with your even-tempered eloquence. You know who you are." they should live by the same rule. Is that fair?

I happened to run into your old argument while looking for some of Al's old info on the former forum to paste here before they take down the old place for good. I am not trying to engage in any argument over it by any means, but since you made that comment and I was involved in this thread last week and lost my cool as well, I guess your comment rubbed me the wrong way and I simply wanted to make a point.

No hard feelings.

Suho' date=' aren't you following along? It was either Lee Harvey, the CIA, or Castro that was responsible for the quote.[/quote']

I wasn't even in Dallas on November 22, 1963 ... but I think my cat was. But that's not the strangest part...my computer has been down since early yesterday and I haven't made any posts here but strangely...it feels as if I have...weird. I don't even have to be here to piss people off. If I go missing they just bring out some of my hits from the past and it's like I never left. I'm tellin' ya, it ain't easy being me.

Suplex, I readily admit to reacting badly when I'm attacked. I certainly did not mean to imply that I was in any way 'above the fray'. On the contrary, as a sinner I respect those who are able to control themselves better than I do. Lord knows nobody in this world should in any way consider me a role model for anything.

Sorry if I took it the wrong way, I'll delete the quoted post. Don't be that hard on yourself man no one is perfect in this world. I have no issues with you, it's cool.

Just as there were second Oswalds spotted in and around Dallas in the fall of '63, directed by yet-unexplained forces with the objective of constructing a false background for the chosen "patsy," so too are there second Uncle Als here on the forum.

Come to think about it, you've actually constructed one or two identities here yourself before, no?

I theorize that just as Oswald's pro-Castro activities in New Orleans may have hid a secret, anti-communist agenda, your vociferous anti-Chinese editorializing here on the forum may be a ruse. Isn't it odd that your computer was conveniently "down" on the day Chinese spys were arrested here in the US? Maybe you were keeping them from making any last ditch contact with you (their handler or paymaster, perhaps), so you can protect your nefarious true identity, and continue your anti-God, family, apple pie, motherhood, and (yes!), anti-American black bag ops? Is that it?

The mind shudders.

I'm going to take my medicine and put my tin foil hat on now.

And then change the metal saddles on my Casino to nylon.
