RotcanX
Good luck, friend. I think you'll find that most of the guys on this forum would sooner part with their left you-know-what than their Elitist SG... Better luck on eBay.
hfmrock
Yeah I know what you mean! But I am also willing to trade a Marshall VST Valvestate 100 Watt amp as well, so as to entice someone to possibly sell me that Elite SG. They dont make those marshalls anymore, and from what I hear theres quite a few people that like them and seek them out. Maybe one of those people will have a Elite SG. We'll see how that goes :-)
Suicidehummer
What?! They make Elitist SGs? Well I know what my next guitar will be!
hfmrock
Yeah man, but they're actually called "Elite SG" not Elitist. The Elite series came before the current elitist series, although the quality of both series are the same. The Elite series offered a few guitars that are no longer available in the "Elitist" quality anymore. Actually, the only full electrics offered in the line for the moment are LP's and a Taksumoto. They also offer a few hollow bodies, like the Casino and the Broadway as well. But yeah, those Elite SG's are pretty amazing, and sound as good if not better than their gibson counterparts. They're a great guitar. Hopefully someone on here wants to sell one! PS- If you want a great Elitist guitar, the Elitist Les Paul Standard is amazing. I just bought one about a month ago and the only real difference between it and the gibsons, besides the finish, is that the Gibson LP Standards havea slight bit more bottom end to the sound that the Epi. But honestly, if you werent really searching to hear a differnce, you probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference.
RotcanX
Yeah man' date=' but they're actually called "Elite SG" not Elitist. Mine is an "Elitist", not an "Elite"... took me that much time to get the cash together.

thunderstruck507
Have one, but no go on the sale Check ebay, they turn up occasionally for $5-700. I also have a LP, and when compared to a LP equipped with the same pickups (498t bridge) the sound is identical. The SG is similar but has a good bit more bite and high end.
