byrds1965
After a member here posted the picture of that turquoise wildkat I have been looking. I just sold off an amp at a local store and have a credit coming. Does anyone know if that is still a stock color? Most web sites list it but in the description but the order options all only have natural and the ebony in stock. I would prefer to avoid ebay and buy new if possible. Thanks in advance for any answers.
JefferySmith
I was looking at them about a month ago. Transparent black and Natural seem to be the only two choices these days.
charlie brown
Funny you should mention a Turquoise Wildkat. I was passing by an abandoned building, here in my hometown, that has a great funky old brick wall, with some 12-14" turquoise painted stripes going up it...(it's an old abandoned bowling alley), and (being an old "photographer") I thought to myself: "Damn, if I had one of those Turquoise "Wildkats" and a nice, young, "hot," long legged model, I could do a nice "guitar" shot, agains that wall!" I can actuall "see" it, now. LOL! CB
JefferySmith
MF still has the blue one pictured, but only transparent black and natural available. I actually hate the turq. model. It looks like a 1966 Datsun.

fc4cdf
Just upgraded the pickups with Tom Short custom wound P90's. What a difference.
SkEpTiKaL
Just upgraded the pickups with Tom Short custom wound P90's. What a difference. I don't know what it is about that guitar but it looks tiny! Maybe because I'm used to huge semi/hollow bodies. A tiny bit OT but going along the same lines, is the only way to get a Turquoise Casino to eBay one? I love how they look but I have no faith in eBay. Thanks!

Thanks![/quote'] I have bought about 5 guitars on ebay, and haven't been stung once. You just have to be cautious regarding the seller and his feedback. On ebay, I have acquired: New old stock Epiphone Elite in new condition Mint Gretsch Country Classic Tut Taylor square neck resophonic New Gretsch Anniversary 2-pickup model New Washburn J-3 Epiphone Dot in excellent condition (but paid too much for it) The AlleyKat and WildKat are pretty small. Between a normal hollowbody and a Les Paul in size.
