Just got off the phone, with MF...ordered the Riviera and a Epi hardshell case, and was given the TEN percent discount! (So, I essentially, got the case for 40 bucks!) COOL! Shipping is Free, of course... I'll "justify" it, by saying it's a "Birthday" present, to myself...since it will arrive, according to MF just a few days prior to my upcoming birthday. Well, I almost bought it the first night I saw it, then talked myself out of it...3 times...then just decided "What the Hell," you can't take it with you...have some fun! Looks to be an awesome guitar! Hope so, anyway. I AM curious, if it's Semi or fully hollow (like a Casino). The description said "hollow body," and didn't mention any center block, but it was a pretty "bare bones" description, and since I can't find anything from "Epiphone" about it, I guess I/We won't know, until we actually get them, huh? No big deal, really...I love my Casino, and it's "hollow!" But, since it's touted to be a "Riviera," I'd would think it would be a "Semi" hollow body. We'll see... It's so strange how Epiphone does these things. :D They should at least announce first dibs to their own forumites on these types of "come and go" special guitars. Oh well, at least news got here as it usually does. It's how I found my 57 Junior last year just strolling on by the Epi Forums and someone posted the MF clearance, my way of giving back some info I guess you could say. Just got comfirmation (and a tracking number), that my Riviera LE has shipped! Whew... glad to hear that. The way they are selling, I wasn't all that sure I'd actuall get one, between the time ordered, and confrimation time required. But, all seems well, so far! Just hope it arrives "safe and sound!" And, I only got it because, at the time, it was 300 dollars less, than a standard 335, and...there wasn't an ES-355 available. Plus, I liked the no "F" holes, too. The guitar body should be hollow. This guitar model is not available in Europe, but I don’t know if this guitar model is going to be issued here as well. I guess it says clearance because these guitars are probably the last ones being sold. " The last sentence.... so what, they made like few hundred of them only? I know it's limited edition, but I suppose it should mean being sold for a limited time supplying all the demand.
