bobbyswamp
I'm still a newbie here, and this topic may be old and done. But has anyone here added one of these Bigsby EZ-Mount kits on to their Epi LP Junior? They are kinda pricey. I was thinking I'd skip the mount and just get a regular ol' Bigsby... jcwillow777
They are spendy, but they won't work on a junior cause a junior has a wrap around bridge and no stop tailpiece. If you had an LP with a stop tail piece another option would be a Vibramate, $60. It bolts right to the stop tail piece. It works with a B5. I just looked closer at the picture, and it does require the stop tailpiece holes. argh...Anyway, thanks jc...

TWANG
as I understand it: the adaptor screws onto the bigs .. so you don't have to drill those holes. and the two bolts at the end of the bigs fit into the bushings already there.. on my bigs, and most of the others I've read about in here.. the strap button hole doesn't line up with the bigs center hole.. but that bigs has a different rear plate. non hinged.. and a single screw, instead of three, like mine. So you may have to fill the strap peg hole and redrill that. would be covered up though so.. not a big deal. there are also two other screws on the bigs I assume connect to the adaptor.... at the rear part where it says bigsby.. I don't know if you have to drill the aluminum bigs.. or if you have to buy the whole thing from ZZ or what.. but 275.00 .. pretty pricey! Ricochet
But has anyone here added one of these Bigsby EZ-Mount kits on to their Epi LP Junior? Pointless. The mountkit is more expensive than the guitar.
iansmitchell
On an LP junior, just put a roller bridge where the wraparound was, and put a B-7 on. You drill one hole on the front.
