guitar tatoos?

A freind of mine owns a tatoo shop he said since i love my guitars so much i should get a tat..im thinkin about it but need some idears for it ...soo..if u have a guitar tat id love to see it..or if youve seen a pic somwhere anything will do:d/

I actually have a guitar tatoo. Actually a bass. My late brother played a Gibson EB-1. And I had it tatooed on my arm as a tribute.

do whatever you like, Then put the serial code(s) of your favorite guitar(s) right under it. Just dont make it some huge tattoo across the back, haha

I've had my Gibson J-45 accoustic tatooed on my right forearm since 1978. A guy owed me $25 & he was leaving town so he gave me a choice- 'trust' him to pay me later or get a tatoo (he was a tatoo artist). I took my J-45 out of the case & said 'put that on my arm'. He did an excellent job and I've had hundreds of compliments on it over the years. Of course now it's pretty faded & people have been urging me to get it re-colored but I'm just gonna let it get old along with me.

If I were a younger man I'd get 3 or 4 more guitar tats on my arms (where folks can see 'em when I'm playing) but I'm just too damn old now.
