12 string guitar songs

Hi,

I am putting together a playlist for songs to play on an acoustic 12 string guitar and after a fews days of searches I have not found any one site or thread that has a comprehensive list. I found a Beatles forum, A Rolling Stones forum, a 12-string songbook and a few other sites. I have copied and pasted some of what I found (some may actually be electric 12-string recordings) and thought I'd start a thread for suggestions of favorite 12-string recordings, songs you like to play on a 12-string, songs you saw played live on a 12-string, songs with dual guitar parts (or even other instruments) that play the 3rd-6th strings (or equivalent notes) an octave apart and could be played on a 12 string.

Just a few of my favs:

The Waiting, Last DJ - Tom Petty

Feel A Whole Lot Better, So You Want to be a Rock & Roll Star - Byrds

Eve of Destruction - Barry McGuire

Kicks - Paul Revere & the Raiders

I'm not sure this is the correct title, State of the Nation by Johnny Cougar Mellenhead from the Scarecrow album. Great acoustic 12 string solo.

Needles & Pins by the Searchers, but I think it was actually 2 six strings emulating a 12.

Don't forget the Beach Boys, Help me Rhonda, California Girls.

CB, Thanks for the additions! A quick listen to hits CD's it sounds like Jefferson Airplane - Somebody to Love, Crown of Creation & Mama's and Papa's - Dancing Bear, Go Where You Wanna Go, I Saw Her Again, No Salt On Her Tail, Twist and Shout, Words Of Love, also use a 12-string. I have another one as well.

You Bowed Down - Elvis Costello

It doubles as an Epi sighting! In the 1996 Live DVD "A Case For Song" he played the song on a 1960's Epiphone Riviera 12-string electric.
