Any one have the low down on this soon to be released guitar ~ the Epi 1959 Les Paul? Where is it made - Usa, china, japan? When is the release date? They're supposedly only producing 1,959 of these guitars, and with two finishes, sounds like about 1000 of each finish. It might be a good idea to preorder. I called Musicians Friend and asked if they would price match a 20% off coupon that I got from Guitar Center. They did so I scored the guitar for $719. They told me they wouldn't be available until December 31st. I've read some others saying this is basically a Slash Epi. I think for the money you can't find anything better.
