bluelake07
Too bad no one ditributes Peerless guitars in the US.... According to their webpage, the sole US and Canada distributor: http://www.guitarsnjazz.com/peerless.html#jazzartist For left-handed players, Jerry's Lefty Guitars currently has four new Peerless guitars for sale, including the Songbird: http://www.jerrysleftyguitars.com/left-handed-electric-guitars-02.html
Bender 4 Life
Absolutely fascinating subject!! It got rrrrrreally interesting when Brian "cleaned up" the edges & re-photo'd them. On a sort of "side note" my Ebony Sheraton II (Unsung 11/07) is supposed to be lam. maple top, back,& sides........... the innermost laminate(seen thru the F-hole) is a very attractive, tight closed grain white(ish) maple, no red or brown tint at all, just as it should be. maybe i'll take my 3" holesaw &..........nah, nevermind. BTW Dizz...........GREAT looking Casino! I bet it sounds as good as it looks too..........

DizzyFingers
These ebony Peerless Casino's that I have appear to have "Mahogany" in them as opposed to what others claim in their Casino's as white "Maple"... A while back I tried out a natural finished Casino MIC and compared it to the Casino's I own...I noticed a difference in the sound, but attributed it to the pups in the ebony Casino's which look different...Maybe a different type of wood used is contributing to this sound difference as well...? Others who were there at the time commented on how there was a difference in sound between the two guitars, (same strings, same amp and settings, same everything)... I think I would love to mod a new Casino...! Sure would like Brian check out the wood in that one... Dizzy
gearhead
Well guys and gals, this thread is a really great example of why I LOVE this forum! I've been on several of the others out there and none are like the Epi Forum! I've been following this thread since the day it posted and interesting is an understatement! Jerrymac I loved your L-5 story, and Brian, all I can say is "Helluva" job man! Hat's off to DizzyFingers for the start and all who contributed! Can't wait to see what subject comes up next! EXCELLENT!
