Silenced Fred
My dad took my AKG K44s, so went to Guitar Center and he got a pair of Sennheiser HD 280s, decided he didn't like them too much and offered them to me. Comfort wise, not my favorite, so I'm getting a pair of AKG K240s today Just gotta go trade the Senns in, AKGs rock for comfort and the replaceable cable is a big thing for me in case something happens
duane v
I had a pair of those AKG K44s, but they were a bit twangy / nasally coming out of my mixing board and computer. I like the Sony MDR7506. They are at a good price and sound good plugged into any device IMO.
MrNylon
Hey Fred; what price range do those headphones run in?
Silenced Fred
Hey Fred; what price range do those headphones run in? For the money, IMO AKG K44 can't be beat. I got my pair for 30 bucks on sale at GC, normally 45. they sounded good, had decent comfort and i could use them for everything from mixing to listening to my iPhone. The Sennheisers had great sound, but comfort they weren't the best. Heavy and cumbersome. I really like these AKG K240s, comfortable, nice sound and semi open so some sound gets let in. Both are 99 dollars, plus they have a 10% off coupon, so less than 100 out the door. I really like them

If you ever noticed, the recording studios and pros use them quite regularly on vises and videos and other various gigs...
