Flight959 Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Well, the R9 has gone! I couldn't get used to the fat neck! She had a killer top and I would have given her a 7/10 for tone! But me and her just wasn't going to happen! I decided some weeks ago to let her go and she finally went yesterday. I managed to get a killer deal on a very very nice 2007 plain top Lemon drop G0... I thought and thought until I visited the guy to have a try on the guitar and I was hooked as soon as I picked her up! She's an absolute killer, amazingly light and easy action with sustain that seems to last for ever! I never was a plain top fan but this has to be the nicest plain top I have seen on a guitar! We shook hands and I took her home! She's the finest LP I have played! :lol: I can't put her down!! A BIG thanks to PIPPY for taking the photo!
