WahKeen
I always thought Kevin Cronin had one of the most, if not the most, "unique" male voices in rock. He has no vibrato, yet can hold those notes and hit the high ones too. He has made his voice work for him (now it's kindof shot). I think Billy Joel (I know, no guitarist) has one of the better voices in rock/pop.
surfpup
What about John Prine? Love John. Not a good voice though. Unique, yes.
ChanMan
Love John. Not a good voice though. Unique, yes. Exactly the category I was thinking. Caught him at One for the Sun on the floating stage.... he came on right at sunset. Freaking awesome!

NeoConMan
Kevin Cronin had one of the most, if not the most, "unique" male voices in rock. That guy makes my skin crawl!!! I liked a lot of the old REO stuff, but now the band is Cronin and a bunch of hired guns. Saw some of their current live show just the other day with interviews of him mixed in. The guy is a squirrel.
