damian
Well i knew who they were... Now? No... Â That's the post of the day dem00n....I saw them then, after the crash, and a bunch of times now.... Â The only authentic thing about them now is the founding guitarest...... Â And perhaps the burgers and fries in the new restaurant !!!!!! Â ( I'm not slamming L.S. ; To me, IMHO, today they sound like a really bad tribute L.S. band...)
guitar dog
I saw them last month. They still put on a good show. Garry Rossington is the only original member, but Johnny Van Zandt does a respectable job on his brother's vocals.
brundaddy
The only good time I've ever had in LV was outside of the strip. Frankie's Tiki Room. Tiki drinks sucked but it's a cool 24-hour bar.
zigzag
I caught the tail end of their show a coupla years ago, opening for Gregg Allman and Warren Haynes. I first saw that same line-up (LS and the Allman Bros.) back in 1973 or '74, just before "Free Bird" was released. Heard that song for the first time live! No surprise that, for their more recent show, the encore was... guess what... They actually sounded pretty good.
