So they finally stop using the Gold script switchplates on models with silver hardware.. and then they had to add that hideous vomit-yellow switch button. I gotta guess they believe they're being clever.. as in, we'll put one part on each model that looks really stupid, which will get the owners started with replacment parts purchases.. and before they know it, they'll have spent twice as much by changing out all the other economic shortcuts that were taken, such as the low-cost tuners etc. The neck binding would look impressive if there weren't those cheap-looking (because they are) dot inlays there.
