j45nick
Awesome guys, thanks so much, one of the things i was a little concerned bout way maybe needing to change the pots given they have never been used in 20 years. Cheers Don't change a thing. The pots should be just fine. There are plenty of 50-year old ES guitars where the harness has never been touched. I have a '68 ES 335-12 that sounds as good as the day it was made, with no electronics issues at all. Would you replace a light bulb in a lamp that hadn't been used in 20 years? Not without trying it first, I bet.
Guest BentonC
If it plays an sounds good, don't touch it. Congrats!
charlie brown
Congratulations, on a GREAT guitar! (I own the "black" version.) Just Play it...You'll love it!! They really are gorgeous guitars! Since your's is a "red head," you could name it "Lucille Ball!" CB
