I heard, "Little Dreamer," by VH today.

I sure loved the tone he got from what ever amp he was using.

Was that his Peavy years or Marshall?

Duane, you know don't ya'?

On another note, I also heard some classic UFO today right before VH.

"Lights Out," was the song.

Wow, talk about some killer tone going on for both of those songs.

Yeah it was the the 68/9 "12000" series Marshall Plexi 100 Watt. He used low wattage green backs and high wattage JBLS ( cleaner). He also used a variac, an attenuator, a dummy load. He also used a couple Echoplex tape delays which also served to boost the front end gain a bit. On VH1 he also used his Ibanez destroyer quite a bit with the original Ibanez pickups ( before he later destroyed it). He also used an old boss EQ and a MXR EQ, Old MXR Flanger and Phase 90
