Thanks for posting!!!! I wish more would post their Beatles paraphernalia

Well like you Duane I have all the albums on vinyl some twice, not to mention many cassettes and every CD version.

I have hundreds of books and posters and Beatles merchandise collected through the years all to go in my music room someday.

It's all packed away in the basement but here's some stuff I found real quick.

When I was about 10 years old I used to scrap every penny to buy Beatles singles. [thumbup]

I still have them but they are worn

Usually with singles, the covers, due to fragility, are worth just as much as the 45 and sometimes more.

Often they are priced separately. BTW, Nice set of 45 there.

When I bought my 1965 John Lennon Casino(one of the first 50 made)and my John Lennon EJ 160 E I was so thrilled that I decided to write Yoko and thank her for letting Epiphone release these guitars as John meant so much to me and that it was him who inspired me to become a musician and a lot of personal thoughts I have about John.I mailed the letter thinking no more of it until one day I got a letter from Studio One in New York.I opened the letter and there was a note from Yoko's P.A. telling me how Yoko was touched by my letter and she apologized for the tardy reply but that Yoko was out of town for quite some time and she insists in signing all correspondence in her own hand. Included with the letter was a picture of John and Yoko in the Montreal Bed-In-For-Peace and the words To Derek-Love Yoko written of course in her own hand.I wish I had the computer savy to print it but sadly I'm a Neandertal Luddite.

People always bad mouth Yoko but I don't think that someone who would take the time to reach out to one of her husband's biggest fans, could be all that bad. She's also travelling all over the world still carrying on with John's crusade for world peace and the end to wars and famine.A person with such humanitarian ways doesn't deserve the flak she gets at all and people should start to cut her some slack.
