lapetrarca
Hi! I recently traded an older MIDI controller for an Epiphone Les Paul. I dated the serial numbers and it was built in Korea in January, 1996 at the Unsung plant. It appears to be a Les Paul Standard - Plus top....unless I'm missing something. Is there a possibility it might be a '69 reissue? Any info would be much appreciated.

Hungrycat
Yep. That's a guitar alright. But really, it's a late 90's Korean Les Paul Plus-Top in Cherry Sunburst.
sixx_ gunner
This looks EXACTLY like my new one, except my pickguard is perloid (?) According to guitar dater project: Unsung Plant, Korea December 2002 Production Number: 2691 So this is a Standard Plus due to the flamed top? Just learning here, so play nice...LOL! Hungrycat
So this is a Standard Plus due to the flamed top? Yes. And your pearloid guard is probably aftermarket.
