"Stanard" Casinos were discontinued in 1962, and were replaced with "Standard" Casinos.....Which makes "Stanards" VERY rare.........[cool][wink] ....

Thank you Rob.........[thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup] ......Great link Pete; Should help the O.P.........

And to the O.P., there are many threads on both the Epi Lounge and Epi Electric forum dealing with many aspects of your question.....

If the "search" function isn't easy for you to navigate, take some time to stroll through the many pages of both Epi forums to find Casino threads.......

Casinos are VERY popular here........

I was just wonderin cuz i payed 450 for a used standard model with a case.the same guitar is 900 bucks but its an elitst model

Having just recently gone through the experience myself. I can tell you that you can purchase any of the standard issue Casinos from most of your local shops and everywhere on line, usually sells for about $800 (new), good luck on getting a '61 reissue, they only manufactured 1961 and I could not find any on-line. (Don't get me started on the Gibson snob/a-hole on another thread that thought his '61 reissue was garbage and destroyed it in a fake insurance claim when his place was broken into). The Elitist (depending on whom you speak to) may have recently been discontinued, there are a handful of new models available on line, I purchased mine from Sweetwater for $1799. Great service from them.
