Something that doesn't make sense.....

My choice is now between this, an American Standard Strat for $625, or a Gibson SG classic for $725....Decisions decisions...,.

LOL, there always seems to be more guitars needed/wanted than money permits, it's a real bugger isn't it.

BTW: the SG Classic would be very tempting to me too, the Am Stds come up all the time though, so it'd be a toss-up between the Elitist and SG for me.

I know 1st world musician problems lol!

Thats a really good way of choosing, I'd easily go for one of those, just the flatter fretboard and slimmer neck kinda make me lean towards the strat...

I'd go for the Elitist Dot........If you choose it, move fast.......Gibson and Epi SGs are always around used, often for quite cheap.....

Same with MIA Strat Standards.....................Just my opinion......................

Also, everybody makes a semi like the Humbucking Dot, not many make a hollowbody like the P90 Casino..... not as much competition with other similar models allows the Epiphone market to set it's own parameters apart from the multitude of 335 Humbucking clones.

Yes, the first one is a good price, and considering the upgrades, the second one is a good price too, if you value those upgrades. The stock humbuckers in the Elitist are quite good though, much better than standard Epiphone pickups. I have that same exact same guitar (stock) and have gigged with it many times and not felt the need to change the pickups. That first guitar is in better condition than mine and I don't think I would let mine go for $750. Hope that helps.

So you'd bet even if I don't like this guitar I could flip it for a bit more? The pics are really tempting, it looks gorgeous....
