Jayyj Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 Lovely guitar, and amazing value for a vintage instrument. I have a Blackstone of the same era which is pretty much identical. I was out shopping for a Gibson along the lines of a '30s L-50 and the Blackstone blew away the half dozen Gibsons I tried, even getting into pretty expensive guitars. Plenty of archtop percussiveness but warmth and sweetness too, so it works really well for blues and ragtime as well as jazzy chords. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
