Sean Kiyd
I am considering buying a ES 339, but is there any other color for this or it only has three colors. I look it up in Gibson's website and it shows ES 339 only has three colors, but other instruments shopping websites have more colors.
BobB
I believe there may have been some "dealer exclusive" ES-339's which had different finishes than the regular production models.
ZenKen
Ebay often has a few. Right now there is a Translucent Blue and an Alpine White.
CR9
The colors listed are available to all Custom Shop dealers. As mentioned before, some of the colors are exclusive only to one or more dealers. You may want to go the route that I did and have your favorite Custom shop dealer get you a quote on the color you want and special order it. The down side is that you can't try it before you buy it unless you make that arrangement with the dealer. I like all of them but the Red, natural or Pelham Blue would be my choice if I were buying one off the shelf. I have had a red one in the past and it looked so much like a mini-335. ****PW Burst****
Kaiser Bill
I need another guitar like a hole in the head, but given the chance to get a 339 I would go with the finish above. Its so rich looking. You are a lucky duck to own such a beautiful instrument.
Murph
An ES-339 would look good painted with Krylon.......

Blueblooded
Don't forget to search out the "CS" possibilities. For me, I like the block inlays/and "Custom" appointments over the typical "Dot" appointed guitars. This one is a nice example. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gibson-Custom-Shop-CS-356-/170952801475?pt=Guitar&hash=item27cd94bcc3
my-red-guitar
First CR9...'what a beauty" I have never seen a 339 in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. I just bought an antique red ES339 at GC in New Jersey for $1999.95 Not sure what the deal is cause everyone else was selling it for I believe $2,600 I know Sam Ash was blowing out ES339's in Ebony and was told it was now a discontinued color? I do have a question .... The es359 comes with a tortoise shell pick guard. Is there any way to but one of those from Gibson to put on an ES339? rocketman
I got mine in a Figured Top, but I don't see too many on the web for sale. I wonder if they've discontinued them. I got mine from the House of Guitars who gave me an incredible deal.
