  1. I have an album by a band called, and this is how it’s spelled - Gaye Bykers On Acid. The song is called After Suck There’s Blow.
  2. I watched that a few years back. Jack thought he was gonna be able try to steal some of Jimmy or the Sides musical tricks. Nope. Cool doc.
  3. I don’t think Joe Bonamassa buys stuff from Reverb. I have to give a company a certain percentage of what I make on my guitar just because I can post my picture on their site. And Reverb states you have to try to sell the guitar for what it’s worth. Why? Oh cause the more you get the more % they get. You can do it. I’m not. If it was a flat $10 or $15 dollar fee to post I would have no issue, but if I sell a guitar for $5000 they get $500 of it cause I posted there? F Off.
  4. I’m not an alien. I leave that to the flying saucer time traveling professionals.
  5. Exactly. The lady I used to take my guitars to for work said, once you handed over an ES guitar to me, and I started working on it. It was at least 250 bucks minimum as a starting point no matter what I did, because they’re a pain.
  6. It’s exactly what you typed. Once again I have stated this numerous times, all your serial number is, is a number to identify it. It does not tell you anything by looking at it except what date it was stamped. STAMPED only. It does not indicate the ship date, what date it was finished, what date the inspection was done on it. It’s the date it was stamped. It’s still had a ways to go before it was out the door to you.
  7. Chances are he might be doomed.
  8. Yes if you list something as new you must be an authorized dealer. I think it stated that in all the descriptions of stuff: new, mint, vg, excellent, and for parts only.
  9. The last one I sold on Reverb, the guy said he was coming to the beach to visit a friend and could I meet him and he had cash. Yep, cause Reverb got 0 of my $. Went to the bank and made sure none of the bills were fake, then handed over the guitar. Haven’t been there since.
  10. Pull the actual knob off and turn the shaft by hand to see what happens.
  11. I only played a V once and it slides down your leg when seated. I’ve seen lots of pics of Michael Schenker and he shoves the bottom part of the V between his legs.
  12. Sorry about you dad. Lost my mom 5 years ago in March. Both my parents are gone. I guess I’m an orphan.
  13. Was that neck a repair job? There are no tuner holes and it looks like the head was glued into the neck by the squared off section.
  14. It was a little more difficult than I expected. I had to type in Jimi Hendrix playing a flying V and then I had to click on it.
  15. Honest relic-ing is less expensive than faking it. You have to go through 4 years of apprenticeships, classes on using an ice pick, penny lobbing, the behind the car rope drag, and then and only then are you handed a railroad spike.
  16. I stayed home just in case I needed to light a candle.
  17. $3199. Not bad but of course it’s a no for me. What will Slash’s next sig LP be? It says the original it was a factory second sent to Slash, how come Gibson doesn’t send you any guitars Pinch?
  18. So yelling obscenities and the N word into a microphone with a backing track is starting to wane? I’ll be glad when it ceases to exist.
  19. I have Turn and Eye on Blue Ray in 5.1 and it has the stereo mix too. Turn is on Esotetic, Eye is not. I Robot I have from MoFi. I’ve bought a bunch of stuff from Esoteric since learning about them. There multi disc cd sets are not too expensive, once they go out of print of course places start to price gouge you.
  20. Mine was in ‘85, right before the 16 year old girls decided it was cool to be seen at a Dead show in tie dye clothes. When the Dead are getting played regularly on the radio and on MTV, something is drastically wrong in the universe.
  21. And do lots of LSD and weed.
  22. Right before I joined The Navy I saw an entire weekend stand at the Shoreline Amp. In Mountain View, CA. I would’ve see Jerry’s Band once after that and The real Dead two more times, then Jerry was gone.
