  1. Is there a Rhinestone Cowboy Chord? What chord would the cowboy from The Village People play? It wouldn’t be a straight chord.
  2. I think Prince did an album called Sign 'O' The Times.
  3. My Martin 000-28 need exactly zero tubes.
  4. The DIP Switches affect the Push/Pull in how the circuit is wired. There are tons of combinations you can do. But a switch is a switch. Its either open (off) or closed (on). No matter if we call it a DIP Switch, a toggle switch, or a push/pull switch, ect. Like the light switch at your house it makes or breaks the circuit, nothing more nothing less, it's just how you wire it and what it goes to. You can get fancy and have a 3 way switch, or a 4 way switch, so you can turn lights on from one end, or the other of a hall way, or other room. And since the DIP (Dual Inline Package) Switch is in the control cavity you have to leave the cover off for easy access or stop, and take the cover off to change a setting. A push/pull is right there on top and can be done one the fly.
  5. Save money and buy a nice Standard. Once you get one, I'll drag it behind my car on a rope, for a mile or so, for you for free.
  6. I like them with Keith, but Donna sometimes screams into the mic and when she does it ruins the song. The PP years are okay, lots of classic songs. One more R N R tragedy. He loved his booze. The first bunch of albums were meh. American and Workingman's are classic and anyone even non Dead Heads can get into them. Kieth was a much better key player than Piggy. I didn't start seeing the Dead until '95.
  7. Black Betty had a child (Bam-ba-lam) The damn thing gone wild (Bam-ba-lam)
  8. Last I checked Thin Lizzy was a rock band. Robbo Robertson was Scottish and Scott Gorham was from LA.
  9. The last time I saw The Grateful Dead at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA in 1995, or so before Jerry died, Vince was the keyboard player. All the other times it was Brent. Prairie Prince plays with Todd Rundgren now. WPOD.
  10. I saw Marty he is the real deal and can make a Tele his B Eye Itch.
  11. Most of what comes out of Nashville now isn’t country. It’s pop with a pretty girl who sings with a twang in her voice, and then they put on a tad bit of steel guitar, and call it country, but it’s really just trash. What was that c-rap with Billy Ray Cyrus and that fruit loop sexually confused guy he recorded that lame song with. Not Country.
  12. I do. I recently bought the Remixed Let It Be on vinyl. I‘ve got 2 - Zappa 3 record sets arriving this Friday, and bought The Tubes - Remote Control used yesterday. I listen to guitarist all the time. I was listening to John Martyn yesterday, unless he’s a flute player and I’m confused about it, but it sounds like he’s playing guitar.
  13. Do you have to have your cockroach killers and 10 gallon hat on while playing cowboy chords. I got the boots covered I got at Heritage Boot store in Austin, but no Stetson brim.
  14. Lasted longer than Tower Records.
  15. Nothing spells Prog excess like ELP. Love the first one, Tarkus, Trilogy, and Brain Salad. By Love Beach where they are dressed like the Bee Gee's it was way over. He was a great player.
  16. I'm listening to MC5 - Back In The USA. It's not as rowdy as I thought it would be.
  17. When I get nail in my tire, and get a flat, it's the tire and the car manufacturers fault. It's just that simple. As Bugs Bunny said "What a maroon". The strings and the guitars fault. Best thing I've heard all year, well stupidest thing.
  18. I hear Roy Rogers was a huge Rite Of Spring fan, and Gene Autry was partial to Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.
  19. I’ve went in when I was In Nashville.
  20. Mine says Shubb. There is no Shubb chord I’m aware of.
  21. A J-45, SJ-200, Hummingbird, Strat, Tele, Les Paul, or SG. Which Standard are we talking about?
  22. What about A, E & D. No songs were ever written with those 3. At least none form AC/DC. Brian was ridding the mechanical bull in the video if I recall correctly.
