Well it appears to be Les Paul Traditional made in 2011. That's all we have to go on.

They should, really. Looking at the specs... Okay, so the only difference from the other Slash signature LPs is the three-piece top. I thought it'd have a slightly different neck profile like the original. Still, it's a nice-looking guitar, of course.

I think they're lowering prices on certain models that don't fly out the door, I'd dismiss it's anything to do with quality. T-type pickups are AlNiCo V, so they're kind of inherently bright. They use stronger magnets than e.g. the 50s Standard, which has AlNiCo II pickups. Unless 335s are known to be inherently bright-sounding - I'm no expert on them, but someone else could maybe chime in, I've never heard that about them though - I don't see how new pickups wouldn't change the tone.

DAW = Digital Audio Workstation, i.e., your recording softare. When you export the song from the software into a file that can be played on its own, you should be able to set what format you want the song in. Check if there isn't a menu somewhere there where you can change the file format to "mp3". That way you don't have to convert it, plus you won't get the quality loss that the conversion results in. Hope that helps.

I haven't watched the videos, which is a bit of a barometer... Not super excited about this one. It's very pretty and probably sounds great, but I'm guessing it sounds like the other Slash Les Pauls, which are also pretty and sounds great from what I've heard. Different neck profile?
