I remember hearing of "Kids In The Hall", but can't remember any of their music. The first 1:45 I was reminded of the Ventures, then when the strobe started flashing and they went a little nuts it didn't sound like that anymore.

I know there's a gent in the Epi forum that had one hell of a wiki going, very detailed. You may want to focus a search in that section. https://forum.gibson.com/forum/47-epiphone/

The ONLY reason I went with the 339 over the 335 was the price tag, size had nothing to do with it. I would have preferred the 335 of course, however I do NOT have any regrets for purchasing the 339. The 339 has been a joy to play and I see it always being a part of my arsenal.

I think that is my guitar from 1983. I had the tremolo put in and pick up switch moved. Any interest in selling? 214-790-9384

When you get a phone call at 2:00 am with heavy breathing and fast slapping sounds, just tell Pepper to behave and it will stop.

It's funny ... The thread's title is exactly how I don't feel about the Gibson forums anymore ... "appreciation" or the lack thereof. So making a post like this only seems so mostly appropriate in this thread, in particular. There is a decidedly lack of interesting new threads, and some very questionable posts for the viable new threads that do come into being. As such, I am announcing my departure from the forums for at least a good while. I am a huge fan of Gibson guitars, so I am sure it will probably be only temporary ... or not. Don't worry ... you won't miss me. : )
It has gotten silly...

Indeed. Probably the best nutter ever seen in these parts.
I went and met up with Roger this evening, can't remember his forum name (long gone from here).
It must have been a trip to meet Roger. I secretly wished he would fly me out to join in on one of his awful jam sessions.

And there we are.. First day back at it even if it was a short day (and I was talking to loads of people I hadnt seen in a while)..
But this work would have probably taken me more like two days had I done it with hand tools.. Theres also a neck there for another build I started a while ago which is going to be for me and be an all Black Walnut DC..
I am booked in again this Friday. So more soon
Rabs, I think this is the one for me to return to London and purchase from you! I can't wait to see the finished product!

if I was stalking you Id post in all your rants which are many
It's pretty obvious you have an unhealthy obsession with Sgt. Pepper. Most of your posts in this forum are attacks on him. I still question if you even own a guitar. You rarely contribute anything guitar related... you mostly just bust balls.
Oh, and have a wonder day.

There's some who'll mix Seagrams with Vernor's, and usually Seagram's is mixed with 7-up(the ol' 7&7).

Yes, Seagrams and Vernor's is what I'm talking about! I'm a refugee from Hazel Park, MI, go Rock n Rye!!

Aaaah, yes. Vernors is in a different class for sure. Too good, even, to mix with bourbon.
...a good Canadian whiskey is nice.

That's what she said!
Marks on Fretboard of a new 335

It's from a file when they were dressing the frets. 00000 steel wool will smooth that out if it's really bothering you. I would leave it be as others suggest.
