Space Pup
How would you like to find this under your tree? http://www.sweetwater.com/guitargallery/acoustic/all/s03008023/
guitarstrummer
OK, I'll take one Jack! I wonder if the idea for this one came from Val's "Wolf" guitar?
Space Pup
I would say yeah, it says in the specs that it's built by Ren and Val so I'm guessing it's a slightly less "bling" or "commercial" version of Val's guitar. I can't remember what all Val said her guitar was inlayed with but it's more than just MOP. I like the wolf head on the pickguard a lot, It's giving me ideas...expensive ideas. onewilyfool
You know, I would be concerned that this guitar might have "wolf" tones....I don't know.....

jannusguy
i don't know who val is, but if this is a commercial version of her guitar with slightly less bling and still costs 9K, i'd love to see the original.
guitarstrummer
Val works in the custom shop in Bozeman. She designed and made a "Wolf" guitar a few years ago. It's really something to see.
Guest
The Wolf Guitar. And its builder, Val Bolitho. A singularly impressive instrument; a unique Gibson in design, to be sure, and one that reflects superbly the abilities and sentiments of the builder. guitarstrummer
I figured someone would have a picture of it. Thanks, Fred.
onewilyfool
That wolf guitar is beautiful.....good to see that Val gets to paws in her work and take a break for photos....Does Val actually make the entire instrument or do the inlay work and detail work? By the way, what did that custom Bear guitar in the pic sell for????
