Fatstrat
Yousa! I first saw Ted during the tour for this album. He opened for Bad Company on the Straight Shooter tour. I and my friend had floor seats at the Sam Houston Coliseum, now long gone. We were unaware of who Nugent was. And were amazed when someone sitting near us told us that he had come primarily to see Nugent and not Bad Co. We left true believers. Bad Co. was good, but was no match for the Nuge. They should've opened for him. BTW he bought his Birdland guitar (or one of them) here in TULSA from a local vintage guitar dealer.

'Scales
Obscenely wicked riffage. The closest a guitar has come to spitting venom.

Jimi Mac
Don't be surprised if the haters come-a-runnin'... They could even get yer thread stricken... Uncle Ted certainly has his place in the annals of rock history! He's an exceptional player! He was always a little too rock for me, and probably a little too wild... After all he is The Motor City Mad-Man... But I do like alot of his playing and he's still got all his chops deep into his mid sixties... He's been at it for 50 years and his passion is relentless! U gotta admire that! His guitar playing talent literally eclipses numerous players of wide and popular acclaim!
