houndman55
I've noticed the few times in my short life I have seen a rickenbacker face to face they all seemed pretty small. It's like the 4003 is bigger than the guitars themselves. Does rickenbacker build the smallest electric guitars?
brundaddy
There are dozens of dinky little "travel" guitars from various makers, some normal-scale and some short-scale. Epiphone makes a "Wee Vee," which is pretty fun to play. Look up the Rickenbacker "Frying Pan" prototype for an example of a Rick with a little body. vangoghsear
For normal (non-travel) small sized guitars, Washburn Idol series guitars have 24.75" scale necks, but the bodies have a reduced size lower bout to make them more ergonomic to play. If you look at them closely, they look a bit 'squished' down. Washburn Idol

Rabs
Pignose and Vox also make great little travel guitars (and a travel bass) with built in speakers... I have a Pignose... It kinda plays like a Gibson with a short scale and a tiny body.. Very cool little guitar though Heres a Pignose next to a LP so you can see the size difference and the Vox ones and theres also this one by Fernandes
