Did you see the Epiphone on SNL 40 last night?

I did I did!

GE Smith has played sheratons before on snl, along with tonnsss of other guitars. I couldn't tell if last nights was a vintage piece or the 62 reissue

But it was cherry with the tremotone. There's a 1966 on reverb for just shy of 8k! I'll shave off the zero and stick with the reissue!

It had a stunning cherry finish and gold hardware. Can't believe nobody noticed it. It's my favorite Epi model.

I missed that, but was watching Tom Petty "Live From Gatorville" last night (I recorded it weeks ago on DVR) and Mike Campbell was playing an Epiphone single pickup Les Paul something or other model on a song or two. It had a huge gator head on it. I'm not familiar enough with the various models to tell exactly what it was.
