blindboygrunt
The pick up on my guitar has no soundhole volume wheel. I recently started gigging again and got myself a midweek slot on a local country pub. When I played in the past I was still getting used to fingers instead of plectrums at home but would've used plectrums when I was playing out. Playing last Wednesday I'm discovering that I am needing to use my fingers for the majority of the set as that's how I've been learning and playing these songs. Anyway, upshot is, no volume wheel is a pain in the as$. Can I add one? In not a fan of the piezo pickup anyway but I don't have the money to replace the whole system. Is there a tuppence way of getting a volume tweak for certain songs?
BluesKing777
You can get all kinds of bibs and bobs and also a few volume controls that plug into the endpin jack, then plug in the lead.....also some leads have volume controls... BluesKing777
I have a Schatten BB-01 Black Box Volume Control, $45 but very, very smooth and no scratchy noises in use....others are dodgy. Look it up, I am sending by iPad, but they also have plain old volume wheels which you need to solde to your internal lead... BluesKing777. EuroAussie
Get an effects unit that also has a volume boost option.

sbpark
Just make sure if you buy a volume pedal that it's the correct impedance that will work with the type of pickup (active or not) you have in the guitar.
