vangoghsear
check out the mustang mini, smaller than the yamaha, runs on batteries,, could easily fit in a suite case. at first glance it looks like a toy but,, it isn't. check out the demo video. http://www.fender.com/guitar-amplifiers/contemporary/mustang-mini/product-230006.html Same for the VOX Mini 3 G2, looks like a toy, but it's got great sound. Check those out too.

brundaddy
I guess, while I've got your attention. Any tips for bringing an electric guitar as carry on luggage? Gig bag (hard case is too bulky & heavy). Smile pretty at the flight attendants and they'll stand it up in the closet, and depending on *how* pretty you know how to smile, maybe take you out on the town for drinks when you arrive. So does the Yamaha amp have a tube power amp, only a tube preamp, or is it totally digital?
Stu-bud
Get a headphone guitar amp for $40 bucks. It would fit in your pocket, if need be. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/amPlugAC30G2
