schnee
I was just at a show last night at my school, and this kid had a g-400 custom in antique ivory. I don't know if it was a gibson or an epiphone, but I fell in love with it. Does anyone know how/where to find one? I've looked on a ton of websites, but if I do find any, they're only epiphones. Is this guitar discontinued?
Swmcv2007
The G-400 is an epiphone, I know what model you're talking about. They might be discontinued at this point but they are always on ebay and in music shops.
SRV-Zeppelin
They aren't discontinued. http://www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=27&CollectionID=16 Try ordering one from your local Gibson dealer.

Geff
They have one right now in my local music shop (at least they did a week ago!) They also had a nice black one. Just as a by-the-way the G400 is Epiphone's reasonable quality SG copy. It is not one of their top-of-the-range models although it does have a set neck unlike the cheaper versions that are bolt-ons. If you can find one in your local store I would try before buying rather than order online as I have heard of significant variations between individual guitars in the G400 models (true for genuine Gibsons as well apparently!). lous1952
My dealer friend has this G-400 on ebay. It is exactly as it says- a new, real G-400, not a fake. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330309003225&ssPageName=ADME:B:FSEL:US:1123

lous1952
Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it's a Custom. Just meant to show it if anyone wants a good deal for a real G-400. He was a Gibson dealer for years, but gave up his franchise and is blowing out the last of his stock.
