Guitar God
Haven't posted it, yet, but I got a new toy last Saturday. Sold my 2014 Mercedes blue Classic Player double humbuckerFender Stratocaster and got an Ibanez S 521 in Ocean Fade Metallic. Decided I liked my green 2003 double humbucker Stratocaster a lot better. Anyway, back on the S. I have never had an S before, though I have played a few. Decided to give this one a shotand I really liked it a lot, so I got it. It is a string thru model. Sounds and plays really good. Very thin, too, for those who don't anything about these.Solid mahogany body. This guitar is very light. The lightest electric I have. Been messing with this guitar for a week and I am enjoying this guitar. Here is a picture.
LarryUK
I've got a cheap one on my sofa for playing when I watch tv. I love the neck. So easy to play.
'Scales
I love a light weight guitar. Congrats. But I'm wondering, like, the Thursday night before a gig do you spin a roulette wheel to decide which of all these guitars to take?... or do you stick with a few old faithfuls and just dig the others out now and then for a change? Marky Forrest
Congratulations on your new guitar. Glad you're enjoying her!
merciful-evans
It sounds like an example of the 80's styled superstrats that I still regard as the best & most beneficial advance in solid body guitars ever. Liking the understated fret markers too. Enjoy!
