If a Gibson Super Jumbo is a good physical fit for someone, then it's a top notch strummer or fingerpicker. I've got friends who love to play mine, but after 3-4 songs they're getting tired holding the guitar because of its size. For me, it sits easily in my lap and is real comfortable and an easy player. Hole in the plastic heel cap. Fill with almost anything. Epoxy probably. get a matching piece of plastic somewhere and sand off a little bit of powder/dust and put it into the hole on top of the epoxy.
